How to Automate Your Client Workflow in Less than 5 Seconds with Google

Today’s blog post is a bit different that the usual, and is geared towards other photographers, or creatives hoping to streamline their client workflow.  I was able to use a free tool, Google’s Calendar Event Creator, which allows me to auto-populate my monthly calendar with my client workflows, as well as receive a color-coded, client-specific, daily agenda!  If this doesn’t keep me on track and my clients happy, I’m not sure what will!

The tool is a bit arduous to set up at first (the video is around 40 minutes long). However, once the setup is complete, it’s all downhill from there.  With every new client or client inquiry, I simply need to input FOUR pieces of information into a spreadsheet, and BAM! What results is a beautiful, color-coded, client specific google calendar complete with workflow task reminders on their due date!  PLUS, Google even sends me a daily to-do list, so I never miss a step! Isn’t that amazing?!
